Once they become elected their hearing seems defected
and people are affected, and its not fair.

You taught us to push back bullies, and not fall victim to our peers.
Yet you go to Washington and you demonstrate fear.
You let lobbyist and voters, and colleagues bully you,
you bow down to your party and you forget the truth.

because they’ll soon forget all of their lessons they taught us so clear.We remember at the restaurant you said that our eyes were too big for our food,
and that we should not be wasteful.
Yet in Washington DC your programs are bigger than the money at hand.
You forgot that lesson that you taught us.

Politicians grow up before your concepts blow up,
and our country falls down into financial flames.
Politicians take heed, abolish waste and greed.
Listen to your children, and give our country the attention that it needs.
